The company wanted to develop and operate a bagging plant in Mombasa near the Port. The grain bagging plant was to have a grain storage silos including drying systems. In addition it was to include a pipeline from the specific berths at the port to the bagging plant to take grain as it was being offloaded from the ship and vise vasa to load the grain into the ship for export.

Our firm was contracted by the company to undertake the feasibility study and propose methods of capitalization of the new company and sourcing of the funding. We undertook the necessary feasibility studies, developed the prerequisite business plan including a proposed capital structure of the company. Further we proposed possible equity and loan financing methods. The company however did not take-up due to the financial constraints of the promoters
